We closed on our new house on Friday...the rest of the day Friday and until 4 on Saturday, we worked our bottoms off in the new house. We painted two rooms, installed two new ceiling fans, pulled up carpet/padding from the hall and the family room (future toy room), deconstructed a basement room that had a drop ceiling and dark paneling with nasty carpet, partially deconstructed the bath that had water damage (removing tile is tough!), removed a shower door and installed a new shower curtain rod, stripped some wallpaper in both bathrooms and some general cleaning. Luckily we rented a dumpster and were able to fill it up! (Wish I had taken a photo of that nastiness!)

Looking good! The new colors in both rooms look really great with the wood floors and trim. And the floor you uncovered in the hallway looks like it's in great condition! I can't wait to see it in person!!
