1. When Leah walks on uneven ground...like the grass or beach, she still puts her arms up in the arm, which is pretty cute. BUT when she starts blowing raspberries, it is hilarious...we have our very own orangutan.

2. Hannah started her first day of summer fun yesterday (preschool). She goes Tuesday and Thursday from 9-1pm and eats lunch there. She was pretty sad in the morning because her best bud/boyfriend is going to a different school this summer. But at the end of the day, she had a good time. And her new teacher came out and said that Hannah was just a dream in class.

3. A repeat for facebook friends: I was playing "which one doesn't belong" with Hannah. Turtle, iguana, fish and crocodile. I think "fish. the rest are reptiles." Hannah answers without hesitation "lizard!" So I ask her why that one doesn't belong. Her answer: "Because all of the others go in the water." Yep. Gotta give her that one!!!!

4. Leah was so cute playing with the elmo live at the store (she has her daddy's fascination with pushing buttons in the toy aisle.). She stood in front of elmo forever and kept blowing him kisses when he said "kiss, kiss"

5. Hannah has become very interested in words...so we made some flashcards to play with. She can now recognize quite a few words, including: mommy, daddy, hannah, leah, poppy, nanny, grandma o, cat, dog, fish, frog.

6. Leah has been weaned from the bottle. We did it cold turkey this weekend. She would still take a bottle in a heartbeat given the chance but daddy tells her that bottles are for babies and she is a big girl now. Now if only we could get her to eat some meat, fruit, or veggies. Her daily food intake consists of rice, beans, mac n cheese, cheese, milk, cottage cheese, animal crackers, pretzel rods, chocolate teddy grahams. We keep trying but she only wants carbs and dairy. It seems to be a texture issue for her. I tried to sneak both taco meat and refried beans in with her spoonfuls of rice...both times she immediately spit it back out.

7. I think we may be off to the outlets today after morning nap. My dirty messy girl (leah) needs some play tees and children's place is having a sale.
