Battle of wills...

...and I am happy to report that I think we are winning..."we" being Andy and I. We started Hannah on milk right after her birthday. It was a bit dicey the first day so we decided to do a gradual (speedy-type of gradual) switch over 5 days. That was very successful! Then it was time to trade in the bottle for the sippy cup. DRAMA! Hannah refused to take the sippy cup (regardless of the fact that she has been gulping water from a sippy since about 6 months). So we decided that we would give in and give her a bottle when she woke up in the morning and before bed at night...the rest of the day she was going to have to suck it up! She barely drank any milk all day yesterday and she was so mad this morning before her first nap when we wouldn't give her a bottle. We decided to stick thru the tantrum and not give in to her demands. FINALLY at dinner she drank some milk from the sippy...we of course praised her and clapped loudly...it seemed to work. She drank more throughout dinner and the rest of the evening. Here is a photo to show our win! Hopefully the bottle she had this morning was her last! Go K College!
